From Toronto Area:
Pass Orangeville on Highway 10 and follow Hwy. 10 to where Hwys 6 & 10 converge in a little town called Chatsworth. Take 6 & 10 towards Owen Sound. Prior to coming right into Owen Sound you'll come to a set of lights called Rockford. Rockford also has a couple of gas stations on two of the corners and there's a sign identifying an "Alternate Route" which by-passes Owen Sound. Take the "Alternate Route" by turning left at the Rockford lights. (For future reference, this Alternate Route road will take you past a conservation area sign on the right which has beautiful Inglis Falls and walking paths. It's worth investigating later.)
On with the directions ...
When you get to a flashing light and a small gas station & clapboard church, turn right. The sign will say "to Sauble Beach & Hwy 6". After turning, stay on this road, through the stop light at Springmount (Springmount has a Fyre Place Store & Esso Station) until it takes you to the Guest House. We are on Hwy 6, 5 km. past Springmount, on the left side just after what's locally referred to as "the long swamp". You'll know the long swamp because it is a mile of bulrushes and scrub trees on either side of the highway. The Guest House is the second place on the left side after the long swamp. Our municipal number is 718416. It is fairly well signed. If you get to Shallow Lake, you've gone too far. If you're having difficulty just give us a call at (519) 371-5045.
